It may be loved, misunderstood, neglected and like all things, will respond accordingly. But we love to love! Minimalist xeriscaping is always an option, but tropical planting is too. Regardless, effective care and maintenance must mean learning, understanding and nurturing the landscape until a vision is achieved, and only then can it be “maintained” (and machetes are not for pruning!)
